Acting as Substitute and Ending Substitution 

Prerequisites

To act as a substitute for another user, you must log on to their mail system.

Procedure

  1. Select Folders ® Substitution on/off or Extras ® Substitute for
    The Logon as Substitute: <user name> screen is displayed.
  2. Choose the user for whom you wish to act as substitute.
  3. If you confirm your entry , the substitution period is set and the folders to which you have access are listed under the Substitute group heading.

    - You can display a list of the users for whom you wish to act as a substitute: select the value help and choose the required user(s) from the list.
    The substitution period and the folders to which you have access are automatically set.

  4. If you may access several folders, select the required folder and log on as substitute via Substitute.
    You are now in the mail system of the user for whom you can act as substitute.

As a substitute, you may also create confidential documents. You can also display these documents again, if required. However, it is not possible to see confidential documents which you have not created.

If you want to log off as a substitute, choose Exit substitution. You return to your own mail system.
