Substitute Function and Automatic Forwarding 
Use
You can define a substitute for any period of absence or to help reduce your workload. This person can log on to your mail system during the period specified. You can define several substitutes and activate them for different periods. You can assign different authorizations to the substitutes and change the authorizations at a later date. If you define several substitution periods for the same substitute, the periods are not allowed to overlap.
In addition, it is possible to set automatic forwarding for a certain period. With this function, documents can be forwarded to external recipients (recipients outside this SAPoffice) or to internal recipients (recipients inside this SAPoffice). You can determine whether all documents or only those with the attribute Functional should be forwarded and whether the documents should also be placed in your inbox. Forwarding is only possible to one recipient during each period.
