Use

There are two advantages to replying to documents using the Reply function:

You can reply to a document with or without reference to the original.

In both cases, you can copy the recipient list and display the correspondence history.

If you select Create with reference, the document to which you are replying is used as a reference for the new document (the document header and, if available, the contents are copied). This function should be used if, for example, you have been sent a form which you should process, or if you wish to include the previous correspondence in your document.

Document ® Reply

The header of the selected document is copied. The sender is automatically entered as the recipient.

You can change the entries in the header and one the send screen, or confirm the entries directly.

Reply with reference

Document ® Reply with reference

The header and contents of the selected document are copied. The correspondence history can therefore be displayed.

You should enter your reply above the existing text.

Replying to the sender and other recipients

From the send screen:

Select the recipients to whom you wish to send the reply and confirm your entries.
