Creating a Distribution List 

Use

If you wish to send the same information to more than one recipient and are likely repeat this process in the future, you should create a distribution list. If you create a distribution list, you do not have to enter recipients individually each time.

Prerequisite

To create shared distribution lists, you must have change authorization for the shared folder in which the distribution list is to be created.

SAPoffice offers various options when creating distribution lists:

Send attributes can be assigned to each entry. You can therefore send documents to addresses using a method which differs from the standard communication method, for example.

Activities

Private distribution lists can be created in your inbox, outbox and private folders.

Shared distribution lists are created in shared folders. Select subscription list, if required.

Enter DLI as the type

Distribution list ® Create

 

Enter the addresses and the corresponding address types. In addition, you can assign send attributes to each address.

If you do not wish to create the distribution list in the current folder, select a target folder.
