Printing a Document

Document ® Print

Specify whether the document header and the recipient list are also to be printed.

Including spool requests in a document

Extras ® Import from spool

You can only include a spool request in an SAP editor document in change mode.

Enter a spool number. Any existing print control characters are also copied.

Including a document in another document

Extras ® Include

It is possible to include the contents of an existing RAW document in a new document or in a RAW document which already exists. You can also include several documents simultaneously. Documents from private folders can be included into documents in shared folders and vice versa.

Select a folder.

Archiving a Document

Document ® Move ® Archive

All functions except Change can be used for archived documents. If you wish to modify an archived document, retrieve the document from the archive by selecting Document ® Move ® Retrieve.

As a prerequisite for this function, an archive system must be connected and you must have authorization to archive documents.

Exporting a Document to a PC

Document ® Move ® Export

You can now edit the document offline (outside R/3) from your PC.

The document header is not exported.

Document ® Move ® Ext. export

You can now edit the document offline (outside R/3) from your PC.

The document header is exported.

Setting the document status

In your inbox:

Document ® Set status ® Reserve or Set to ‘Done’ or Set to ‘Viewed’

In a shared folder:

Document ® Set to ‘Viewed’

A document status is set when:

You receive a document with the attribute ToDo

You have unread documents which you do not want to read in your inbox or in the shared folders to which you have subscribed and which you do not wish to have marked as unviewed.

Displaying/changing the expiration date of a document

Goto ® Expiration date

The defined expiration date is displayed. You can change the date for this document.
