Optical document which has type ARC in SAPoffice. Image documents are scanned in and stored in an optical archive.

Image documents are used in many areas. Important image documents, i.e. invoices and other documents, must sometimes be available decades later. Such documents should therefore be archived. You can find more information about archiving in the SAP ArchiveLink documentation.
