Computing Center Management System - Control Panel: Improvements 

Description

The following improvements have been made to the CCMS Control Panel (transaction RZ03):

1. Any function that is to be carried out on one server only can now simply be executed when you have positioned the pointer. You no longer need to double-click to select a single server. It is of course still possible to double-click to select several servers and then execute the function.

2. You can select various views

• Normal view - Alerts and Status information, as previously

• Alert view - Alerts only

• Status view - Status information only

• Performance - No. of users logged on, waiting and response times

• Buffer quality - Quality of SAP buffers as %

To change views, click the "Different view" button, which calls the various views sequentially, or choose Edit -> Other views ... to go straight to another view.

3. Sort functions: You can rearrange the order of display by choosing Edit->Sort ...

If you jump straight to a view, an appropriate order is selected automatically. For example, -> Alert view is placed immediately after Alert.

4. You can now access the following functions from Control -> ...:

-> Alerts per server -> Alert Details (as previously)
-> Threshold values (new threshold maintenance

-> All thresholds (new threshold maintenance facility, all servers)

-> Background processes (displays all background processes with the
jobs currently running)

-> All work processes (system-wide process overview)
