Accepting a Call 

Purpose

This process processes the data of an incoming call. It can prompt the system to display call information on the screen, branch directly to an application, or transfer the call data to an application.

Process Flow

The process starts when a call is received.

 

If telephone integration has been implemented using a central architecture, the following process must be started by a user action. The details of the action depend on the application involved. Two examples:

Depending on the user-specific settings,

If the caller could not be identified, you can search for the caller address manually.

To establish the connection, lift the handset.

From the dialog box containing the caller data, you can execute various functions, e.g. enter a note or call a list of tasks via an application, from which you can choose a task to be processed.

You can close the data display window or the application without affecting the current connection.
