Testing the Settings 

  1. From the SAPoffice initial screen (System ® Services ® Office), select Administration ® SAPphone ® Settings (extended)
  2. Test:
    1. Outgoing calls
    2. Select Dial (test mode) or Dial and enter a telephone number. Confirm your entries.

      If you select Dial (test mode), the settings required to initiate the call are determined and displayed.

      If you select Dial, the call is initiated.

    3. Incoming calls

Select Simulate call and enter your extension, the server and the calling number to test the caller identification function. Confirm your entries by selecting Initiate call.

If SAPphone cannot assign the call to you, you can display the log by selecting Utilities ® Assign incoming call and try to discover where the error occurred.

Result

The test is performed. Problem messages are displayed if any errors occur.
