Maintaining User Settings 

User settings are used exclusively in the handling of incoming calls. New SAPphone users who have not yet been assigned their own user settings are automatically assigned the standard settings.

Procedure

Individual creation by the user

  1. From the SAPoffice initial screen (System ® Services ® Office), select Administration ® SAPphone ® Settings (extended)
  2. Select User settings.
  3. Enter the required settings and save your entries.

Individual creation and maintenance by the administrator

  1. From the SAPphone administration screen, select Goto ® User settings ® Create setting (or Display, Change, Copy or Delete).
  2. Enter the required settings and save your entries.

Central maintenance using fast entry

  1. From the SAPphone administration screen, select Utilities ® User list (fast entry)
  2. From the next screen, you can restrict the number of entries in the list of users to be maintained.

  3. Select Execute.

A table in which you can select user settings to be maintained or deleted is displayed.

Copying templates

This function is used to copy the selected template settings to the selected users.

You can also create new templates or change existing templates from the dialog box which is displayed when this function is called.

Maintaining subareas:

Notification

Address data areas

These functions are used to copy the specified settings for the relevant subarea to the selected users.

This procedure should be used if user settings in subareas are all to be modified while the individual settings remain unchanged for other areas.
