Template for User Settings 

Use

Templates allow user settings to be maintained efficiently. When the SAPphone settings are created centrally or the user settings are maintained centrally, a template can be applied to a user group. To facilitate the maintenance of user settings, you should therefore prepare several templates for your system.

Activities

The administrator manages the templates for user settings in SAPphone administration under Goto ® Templates for user settings From this menu option, you can display, create, change and delete templates, as well as using a template to create new user settings.

To create new user settings using a template, choose an existing template and select Create user. When the subsequent dialog box appears, enter a user name and the template is applied to the specified user.
