Educational leave is the right, given to a full time employee, to be absent from his job, with pay, for a fixed total of hours to follow certain courses.
Provided that the employer makes certain declarations to the government, the government will refund him the wages for those people that took up educational leave, limited to a maximum monthly wage of 68.OOO BEF (dd. 1998).
Both the notification in advance and the reimbursement declaration are supported by the standard system.
The registration of the period in which one can take educational leave (this is the duration of the course), is done through the Absence Quota (2006) infotype. The registration of the actual absence is done in the Absences (2001) infotype.
