If you confirm maintenance or service orders using the time sheet (CATS) you can enter the master cost center of the employee or the cost center from the Time Sheet Defaults infotype (0315) as the performing work center. This is then also used in the internal activity allocation for cost determination.
In the Default values section of the data entry profile, you can set whether the master cost center of the employee or the cost center from the Time Sheet Defaults infotype is proposed.

The master cost center is specified in the HR master record in the Organizational Assignment infotype 0001.
