
The address selection process has been enhanced to include selection data from the Logistics Information System and Service Management.
Statistical data from LIS is useful if you want, for example, to contact customers who have achieved a certain sales volume or for whom the actual figures are considerably poorer than the planned figures.
Service Management data is useful, if you want, for example, to recall faulty products.
On the selection screen for the address lists, you will find two new buttons:
This button enables you to define selection criteria from other logical databases. In the standard system, you can choose from the following databases:
An exception is made up of exclusion criteria which enable you to narrow down the customers selected to a very specific group. For example, you can select all customers who achieved a particular sales volume over a specified time period.
You define exceptions in the Early Warning System in Logistic Information System for particular information structures. In the case of the address list, it only makes sense to define exceptions for information structures which include the characteristic "Customer". In an exception for address selection, you must enter the following information:
On the follow-up processing screen, you must activate the Active for standard analyses field
