Recording Working Times in the Internet/Intranet 

Description

As of Release 4.5A, your employees can record their own working times in the Internet or Intranet.
The Internet Application Component for the Time Sheet is available within the Employee Self-Service applications. It generates HTML pages using the SAP Internet Transaction Server (ITS).

You can customize the HTML pages to suit the specific requirements of your users, in the same way as you customize the R/3 version of the time sheet. This enables you to bring data entry in the Internet/Intranet into line with the data entry in the R/3 System.

Software/hardware requirements

To be able to use the time sheet Internet Application Component, you must have the ITS and the SAP@Web studio installed.

Installation information

You must import the CATW transaction from your R/3 system to the SAP@Web studio and make the service publicly available on your web server. For further information, see the documentation on the SAP@Web studio.

You can use the Internet time sheet (CATS) step to control certain properties of the internet application.
