Definition

This indicator ensures that the Define basic change function is active for the leading change master records.

The leading change master records must fulfil the following requirements

• Effectivity is defined by the Valid from date.

• All allocated change packages are released technically ( Technical release).

• The leading change master record is released for production.

Use

If you perform the Define basic change function for a leading change master record, the following rules apply:

• The change master record is effective:

• without any time restrictions

• without any status restrictions

• You cannot enter any late packages for the leading change master record even although the Late packages supported indicator is set.

Choose Edit -> Define basic change in the change master record (change header).
