You can assign maintenance orders to functional locations using the Plant Maintenance (PM) component.

A maintenance order

• Plans the execution of the maintenance measures
• Monitors work process
• Settles the costs of the maintenance measure

You can use the PM functions for the Real Estate (IS-RE) component to valuate the maintenance costs for real estate objects.

Carry out the following steps to assign maintenance orders to real estate objects and to valuate the costs:

1. Create maintenance order(s) and functional locations in the PM component.
2. Assign the maintenance order within the master data of the functional location.
3. Assign the functional location within the real estate master data of the IS-RE component.
4. Plan or carry out account assignments for the maintenance order.
5. You can analyze the non-cumulative values of maintenance orders within the IS-RE information system by Real Estate object or by cost element:
