CO Settlement  

This topic describes the processes involved when in R/3 Real Estate you settle actual costs on the real estate objects and the rental agreement to other cost objects.

I. Customizing

Within Real Estate Customizing, the required settings are maintained:

II. Master data objects R/3 Real Estate

  1. You have to assign each object to be settled a settlement rule containing:
  1. Each object to be settled has to have the system status Released so that account assignment to the objects can be carried out.

III. Posting costs to objects

Posting costs to the individual controlling objects has to be done within Financial Accounting or by activity input and transfer posting.

IV Executing CO settlement

Execute CO settlement within R/3 Real Estate. There are two procedures for doing this:

Single Processing

Collective Processing

Settlement by selecting actual objects; upon request, including the hierarchy (for example, all rental units of a business entity)

Further selection criteria possible, where you have to create a variant (for example, selection by usage type, contract type)

Settlement by means of a background job can only be carried out by means of the collective processing procedure

The CO settlement credits the actual costs on the sender object and debits those on the receiver.
