Editing Building: Object Characteristics  

Prerequisites

The groups of object characteristics, the object characteristics themselves, and the values of the object characteristics are defined in Customizing.

Procedure

You can assign various characteristics to the real estate objects buildings and rooms. These object characteristics can be construction engineering data, for instance. You maintain them as groups, characteristics, and their values.

  1. Choose the Object characteristic function.
  2. In the GOC field, enter the group number of the object characteristics and choose ENTER to activate the identification of the group.
  3. To define the corresponding values for each characteristic within an object characteristic group, position the cursor on the required object characteristic group.

    4. You reach the Create/Change Building:<Characteristic> screen.

  4. In the Obj. field, enter the required characteristic.

    5. If you want to enter several object characteristics in parallel, choose the Object characteristic function.

    Select the required characteristics and choose Back.

  5. Press ENTER to activate the characteristics.
  6. In the VAL field, enter the required value for each characteristic and press ENTER .
  7. Choose Back to copy the data.
