The correct entry of the construction year can influence the rent adjustment:

In any case, enter a complete date (DD.MM.YYYY) if the construction year coincides with a start or end date of the age of building classes for the representative list of rents calculation.

The system checks this automatically and in this case, requires a complete date.

Rent adjustment of privately-financed accommodations

For the rent adjustment of privately-financed accommodations, the construction year is used as key date for the rent cap determination in cases where the First usage date is not maintained on the rental unit.
