This report copies addresses from central address management to an LDAP service. The addresses can then be accessed using an LDAP client via the Internet or an intranet. SAPoffice contains an LDAP browser which can be used to display the addresses.

The SAP LDAP Gateway is in operation and a connection exists to the LDAP browser.

The LDAP service into which the addresses are to be copied is ready for operation and not write-protected.

The R/3 addresses are copied to the LDAP service. The LDAP object class which is used depends on the R/3 address type.

The attributes in the nodes to be created are based on recommendation X.521, ISO/IEC 9594-7. If the SAP RML addresses are entered in central address management, the attribute SAP User Name is also created, with the format <system>:<client>:<user id>.
