SOCSO 
Purpose
To calculate and deduct the employee and/or employer contributions, the system has to read from the Infotype 0197 Employees’ Social Security and uses the data to calculate the percentages of contribution. The contributions are then submitted to the SOCSO Office.
Prerequisites
The following actions need to be carried out :
- Infotype 0197 Employees‘ Social Security must be maintained
- Set up the SOCSO payee details and employer reference number via IMG.
- Set up the company rate via IMG
Maintain SOCSO-related payroll schemas and rules before running payroll.
Process Flow
The processing steps for SOCSO are:
- Read the data in Infotype 0197 Employees’ Social Security and check that it exists.
- Get the earnings liable to SOCSO.
- Read the SOCSO rate table with the previously gathered information and pick-up the contributions.
- Store the employee and employer contributions.
- Store SOCSO data into relevant payroll tables.
