You may want to manage loans which have been changed over to euro on a separate balance sheet account. To do this, you need to carry out a balance sheet transfer as part of the contract currency changeover.

Balance sheet transfers cannot be carried out with the contract currency changeover itself. Instead, you make preparations for the balance sheet transfer as part of the contract currency changeover, but execute it later on in a separate step. You can only do this, however, if the balance sheet account used so far is managed as a local currency account before the contract currency changeover.
