Subsequent Settlement: Recompilation of Information Structures

Use

This process allows you to recompile the information structures of Subsequent Settlement.

Prerequisites

It is essential that you read the general notes on recompiling the statistics. In particular, you should perform a data backup or save the data in a different version, and carry out the recompilation using a version designated specifically for this purpose (beginning with the two character &().

Process flow

Two steps are necessary to recompile the information structures:

  1. Recompilation of business volume data
  2. Schedule program RWMBON08 (vendor rebate arrangements) or RWMBON38 (customer rebate arrangements) as a background job. Select the Recompilation indicator.

You can first delete the business volume that already exists in the system by selecting the relevant indicator. This is done for all the information structures in the system providing they contain the characteristic Rebate arrangement or Condition record number. The information structure should have a secondary index referring to the relevant characteristic.

The program is used largely in the same way as program RMCENEUA.

Ensure that no new documents are created while the program is running. In particular, background invoice verification must be deactivated.

  3. Recompilation of rebate income data

Schedule program RWMBON07 (vendor rebate arrangements) or RWMBON37 (customer rebate arrangements) as a background job.

You can first delete the rebate income that already exists in the system (key figures are set to a value of 0) by selecting the relevant indicator. This is done for all the information structures in the system providing they contain the characteristic Rebate arrangement or Condition record number. The information structure should have a secondary index referring to the relevant characteristic.

You can dispense with the second step if no settlement accounting has yet taken place.

Results

The information structures are recompiled.
