Data Transfer Objects

Definition

Data transfer objects are R/3 business objects that can be transferred automatically into the R/3 System. Business objects represent central objects in the R/3 System. Examples of business objects are organizational units or master data.

You can use the Data Transfer Workbench for the following data transfer objects:

- Material master - Planned independent requirements

- Material BOM - Document info record

- Vendor master - Storage bins (WM)

- Customer master - Warehouse stock (WM)

- Classification - Equipment

- Condition record - Rental unit

- Purchase requisition - Rental contract

- Sales documents - HR master data

- Financial documents - Personnel planning

- Goods movement - Purchasing info record (from Rel. 4.5A)

- Manual reservation - Bank data (from Rel. 4.5A)

- Category - Purchase orders (from Rel. 4.5A)
