The log file could not be opened. Typical reason: sapdba -check was entered, but the necessary directory (<ORACLE_HOME>/sapcheck) does not exist or is too small.
When sapdba -check_db_open is used: Database is neither open, nor mounted, nor shut down.
Wrong environment; typical reasons: A required environment variable was not set; an illegal variable was set.
SAPDBA could not determine which Oracle version is installed. In the menu mode, a message and a prompt to enter the appropriate version appears. SAPDBA Release 3.0 cannot administer Oracle Database Version 6.
