All employee information relevant to SMP evaluation needs to be recorded in the infotypes given below. These infotype records provide the Payroll Accounting component with the information it requires to evaluate the employee's maternity leave data, and therefore calculate the correct payments during the payroll run. The Payroll Accounting component also uses this information to update the Absence Calendar.
