Changing PAYE Details for an Employee Back at Work After Strike Action 

When an employee resumes work after strike action, you need to create a new Tax Data record so that any tax refund due is then paid.

Procedure

  1. Choose Human resources ® Personnel management ® Administration, then Maintain master data.
  2. The Maintain HR Master Data screen appears.

  3. In the Personnel number field, enter the employee’s personnel number.
  4. Use the matchcode function to find a number you do not know.

  5. Access the Tax Data (infotype 0065) record by entering the infotype name or number in the Infotype field.
  6. Choose Copy.
  7. The Copy Tax Data GB screen appears.

  8. In the From field, change the date to the date on which the employee resumed work.
  9. Deselect On strike.
  10. Save your entries.
  11. A message appears informing you that the end date of the previous record will be delimited.

  12. Choose Enter.

Result

Any tax refund due to the employee is paid when the payroll is next run.
