Create Training Program
Task notes
- Define your different user groups.
Group your users according to their new tasks and their previous experience.
- Determine the content and scope of the training for each user group.
The content and scope of the individual courses are derived from the
business processes and from changes to your company's procedures and organization.
- Make all the arrangements necessary for holding the training courses.
- the provision of suitable rooms
- the availability of course instructors
- the provision of technology and hardware
- the availability of the users on the scheduled course dates
- the reproduction of the training materials.
- Create a course schedule.
Your schedule should allow for any dependencies between the courses
that arise because of relationships between the business processes.
Offer a number of dates for each course so that your business does not come to a standstill.
- Have the training program approved by the management body and circulate it to the user departments in your company.
- Organize course registration by publishing the courses and their dates, and creating an attendee list for each course.
Additional information
- Your users will come to the courses with varying levels of experience
and skills that you should take into account, for example:
- their PC and desktop skills
- their SAP experience (for instance R/2 experience)
- their previous work environment.
- Schedule user training for a time as close as possible to the planned
production startup so that the users can put their newly acquired skills into practice immediately.
