Maintain number ranges for document logs

In this step, you define the number ranges for the document log.

Standard settings

In the SAP system, the following number ranges and intervals are preset:

• for document logs in the plant (setting for plant 0001)

• internal number range 01 with an interval from 1 to 9999999

Recommendation

It is recommended that you use the standard settings. In this case, you need not carry out any actions.

Note for transporting

Number range objects can be transported as follows:

In the initial screen, select, "Interval - Transport".

Note that in the target system all intercals of the selected number range object have been deleted first so that after the import, only the exported intervals exist. The current number levels are imported with the value that they have at the time of the export.

Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
