Define repetitive manufacturing profiles
In this step, you define the repetitive manufacturing profile. Via the
order type, the repetitive manufacturing profile controls whether repetitive manufacturing with production orders (variant 1) or
repetitive manufacturing with cost collector variant 2) is to be used:
- In the first variant of repetitive manufacturing, the system creates
run schedule headers without cost collectors; the data and costs
incurred in production are assigned to the run schedule header and are settled. The order type here is, SA.
- In the second variant of repetitive manufacturing, the system creates
run schedule headers with cost collectors; all the costs incurred in
production are assigned to the cost collector where they are also
settled. Production orders are not required. Two order types exist here:
This order type controls that the cost collector is created automatically when creating the run schedule header.
This order type controls that the cost collector is created manually in the CO system.
The repetitive manufacturing profile is recorded in the material master
record. Thus, you can decide which variant of repetitive manufacturing is to be used per material.
