Creating a Table Pool
A dialog box appears in which you must enter the name of the table pool. Then choose Table pool.
The maintenance screen for table pools appears. Because the structure of a table pool is set, the necessary specifications for the fields are already entered here automatically. You should not change these standard settings if you can avoid it.
You can view the log for the activation procedure by choosing Utilities ® Act. log. If errors occurred when the table pool was activated, you branch to the activation log directly.
After the table pool has been activated, you need to create it in the database. To do this, use the database utility (Utilities ® Database utility).

Once a table pool contains data, it can no longer be changed.
