To access the matchcode maintenance screen, enter a four-character object name in the initial screen of the ABAP Dictionary and select Utilities ® Matchcode object ® Create (or Change or Display).

Perform the following steps to create a matchcode object:

1. Defining Attributes of the Matchcode Object
2. Selecting Secondary Tables for the Matchcode Object
3. Selecting Fields of the Matchcode Object
4. Activating Matchcode Objects
