Choose Table ® Activate in the field maintenance screen of the table. The including table is also adjusted and activated when an included table is activated.

Information about the flow of the activation can be found in the activation log. You can display the activation log with Utilities ® Act.log. If errors occur when the table is activated, you will automatically go to the activation log.

When a transparent table is activated, the table and all the indexes on the table are automatically created on the database (if not explicitly excluded when the index was defined). You can display the definition of the table on the database with Extras ® Database object ® Display.

If there are structure changes to existing tables requiring a conversion of the table, a dialog box will appear in which you can choose the processing type. The table is activated during the conversion.
