Displaying the Logs

If logging is switched on correctly, table changes are recorded in a file. Proceed as follows to display this log:

  1. Choose Tools ® Business Engineering ® Customizing ® Tools ® Table history .

    2. The screen Table history - Select function appears.

  2. Choose Change documents: selective and List.
  3. In the Analysis of Table Log Database screen, enter the name of the table in the Tables field. You can also display the logs of several tables. You can change the output of the analysis program by setting the displayed parameters (Start date, Start time, End date, End time).
  4. Choose Program ® Execute.

The log contains a structure description of the table, a list of the changes made within the specified interval, statistics about the selected changes for each table and overall statistics.

Choose Compare to compare the current state of the table with a previous state in the screen Table history - select function. In the next screen you can define the previous state to be compared with the current state by entering a date and time.
