Basic Steps in Creating a Configurable Material

  1. Define the characteristics in the classification system by choosing Logistics ® Central functions ® Classification.
  2. Create a variant class with class type 300 and assign the characteristics to it.
  3. Create a configurable material in the material master.
  4. Create a configuration profile for the material by choosing Logistics ® Central functions ® Var. configuration and assign your material to the variant class above.
