Creating a Basic Data Text, Inspection Text, Internal Comment

  1. From a departmental data screen, choose Extras ® <text type>.

    2. The data screen appears for the text type chosen.

  2. In the Language field, specify the key of the language in which you want to enter the text.
  3. In the Long text field, enter a text specific to the material.

    4. For extra space, choose Edit ® Long text ® Long text screen. You can now enter your text in SAPscript. For more information on how to use SAPscript, see the R/3 library documentation BC Word Processing in the SAPscript Editor. To return to the data screen for the respective text type, choose Back.

    Part or all of your text is visible in the Long text field. If the More text indicator is set, there is more text than that displayed here.

    To enter a text in another language, choose Edit ® Long text ® Create text.

  4. To continue processing the material master record, choose the next function you want to perform. Otherwise, save your text.
