SAP Convergent Charging 1.0

SAP Convergent Charging provides a rating and charging solution for high-volume processing in service industries. It delivers pricing design capabilities, high performance rating and convergent balance management. Capable of operating in real-time and in batch mode, it includes hybrid prepaid/postpaid charging capabilities, unrivaled marketing agility for service pricing, carrier-grade scalable performance and high availability. Due to its support of low latency, real-time operation and high availability, SAP Convergent Charging is not based on the SAP NetWeaver platform, but is instead a distributed set of Java (J2SE) applications.

Javadoc Name Description
Core Server Java APIs for communicating with all the instances of the SAP CC Core Server.
You can manage master data (subscriptions) and use the real-time business services (rating, charging, inverse rating, session-based, reservation) of SAP CC for your transactional data.
BART Server (Batch Acquisition and Rating Toolset) Java APIs for communicating with the SAP CC BART Server for managing batch rating and charging business services.
You can manage the acquisitions of transactional data (related to the use of a customer service) from your IT system, treat them and send them to the SAP CC Core Server as chargeable items for being rated and charged.
IEC (Import/Export Connector) Java APIs for customizing an Import/Export Connector (IEC) of SAP CC.
You can customize your import/export connector program by adding your Java classes: adding new actions, customizing the reporting, customizing the connection with the SAP CC BART Server.
