Package com.sap.portal.pcm.relateditem Description

Provides interfaces and classes for managing related items.

Related items are an association between two iViews. When an iView is displayed, its related items are displayed in the side navigation panel.

A related item is referred to as a child of an iView/page, which is referred to as the parent. When a related item is a child of an object, it is a direct item. A related item that is a grandchild of an object is an indirect item.

The following types of related items are available:

• Related Links: Represents links to the related iViews and pages that are displayed in the Related Links iView in the navigation panel.
• Target Components: Represents links to the related iViews and pages that are displayed in the Drag&Relate Targets iView in the navigation panel.
• Dynamic Navigation: Represents the contents of the related iViews and pages that are displayed in the Dynamic Navigation iView in the navigation panel.
