SAP Sales and Operations Planning 2.0, Powered by SAP HANA

SAP Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) enables you to optimally and profitably meet long-term future demand. Typically, this process repeats every month and involves many participants including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain Planning. In addition, the client for Microsoft Excel is used for viewing and changing planning information, and SAP Jam or SAP StreamWork is used to enable social collaboration, depending on whether you are using the state-of-the-art UI in 2.0.3 or the earlier UI. For more information, see What's New.

API Guide

S&OP provides APIs with different flavors to enable the export of key figure data from the application so that it can be consumed by ETL tools, integration applications, or directly from operational systems. This document describes the export key figure APIs.

SAP HANA Cloud Integration Guide

You can use SAP HANA Cloud Integration to move data into and out of S&OP. When moving data from SAP Business Suite application sources, templates provide predefined content which serves as the starting point for populating your S&OP application. When moving data from other sources, you must develop tasks from scratch.
