.Within a text box, you can use the functions of WWI, such as character sizing (see Character Sizing).
You assign the released label template to a generation variant.
You can restrict the usage of the generation variant by defining application objects (see Generation Variant and Defining Application Objects).
You generate labels that contain specification symbols for reports and release them in report management.
You open labels without a reference to a specification in the report information system.
If you created a label with the WWI Wizard and call up the label from report management or the report information system, the SAP system loads the labeling tool.
The labeling tool provides different standard sizes for display and printing purposes. In addition, you can define your own formats with the help of the labeling tool (see Using the Labeling Tool).
If you have not used the Label Wizard, Microsoft Word is opened.
Note
Labels for which the labeling tool is loaded cannot be exported, sent, or printed out via the SAP spool.
In the report information system and report management, you call reports that were created with the Label Wizard by choosing (Label
). You call reports that were created without the Label Wizard by choosing (Display doc. on front-end PC
