Function documentation Check Objects for Inconsistencies  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You use this function to check processes and forms for database inconsistencies.

Example

A database inconsistency occurs, for example, if there is a field definition for form scenario version 1 in a form scenario, but this version is not defined in the form scenario.

Note

Such inconsistencies can occur when you edit a form scenario with the Customizing views in the Implementation Guide for HR Administrative Services under Configuration of Forms/Processes ® Form Configuration. Design Time for processes and forms prevents such inconsistencies.

Features

You can check the following objects for inconsistencies:

       Process

       Form scenario

You can clean up the inconsistencies.

The system deletes all unsuitable database entries.

Example

In the example above, the system would delete the database entries for the field definitions of form scenario version 1.

Instead of deleting the database entries, in this example you could also create form scenario version 1 to remove the inconsistency.

Activities

Double-click the required object to select it, and then choose Utilities ® Check Inconsistencies or Remove Inconsistencies.

Note

You must open the object in change mode to remove inconsistencies.
