Processing Offered Objects 

Use

The system filters the data of a rental object and stores it in an offered object. The offered object contains the data relevant for the search functions, such as, when the lease terminates and when the object is vacant.  Changing the data of the rental object is not possible in the offered object. However, you can change all data in the offered object that relates to a search.

Prerequisites

·        To enable you to generate offered objects, you made settings for the following in Customizing:

¡        Number range

¡        Usage type of object

¡        Vacancy period to be used for creating the offered object

In Customizing for Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX), choose Real Estate Search ® Offered Object.

·        You generated offered objects from the rental objects that you want to include in the search. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Flexible Real Estate Management ® Tools ® Real Estate Management ® Create/Update Offered Objects from Rental Objects.

Features

If you change master data that affects an offered object, then the system updates the offered object accordingly. The offered object exists until the rental object is leased out.

The offered object is intended for use with the extensive search functions in the system. The conditions, measurements, and fixtures and fittings characteristics of the offered object are stored in such a way that they can be compared with the data of an RE search request.

The following functions are available when processing an offered object:

·        Searching for RE search requests

·        Assigning a status to a search result

·        Adding a specific RE search request

·        Creating a contract offer

·        Creating a contract

·        Displaying the documents created so far
