Room Reservations and Long-Term Seating Arrangements 

Purpose

You can use this component to optimize your internal room and space management. The component provides transparency for the processes of reserving and tracking occupancy of your real estate objects, and allows you to allocate the resulting costs in Controlling (CO). The following functions are available when you use this component:

Implementation Considerations

To be able to use the full functions of this component, you need to make the following settings in Customizing:

●      All settings under Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) ® Master Data ® Architectural View ® Architectural Object Type

●      All settings under Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) ® Master Data ® Basic Settings ® Measurements

●      All settings under Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) ® Room Reservations and Long-Term Seating Arrangements

●      Assignment of reference flow types to flow types for determining prices for the condition types used, under Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) ® Conditions and Flows ® Flow Types ® Assign Reference Flow Types, with the following dependencies:

○       Billing for Continuous Occupancy

○       Billing for Internal Reservation

○       Billing for External Reservation

●      Assignment of account symbols to reference flow types, under Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) ® Accounting ® Automatically Generated Accounting Documents ® Account Determination ® Assign Account Symbol to Flow Type

Integration

The reservation objects used for room reservations and long-term seating arrangements are actually offered objects. Therefore, you have to define all the fixtures and fittings characteristics you need. In Customizing for the real estate search, choose Offered Object ® Specify Fixtures and Fittings Characteristics for Real Estate Search.
