Creating Outline Agreements
To enter special conditions for partners for reservations or continuous occupancy of an object, you create an outline agreement. There are two types of outline agreement:
● Outline agreement for periodic posting
You use this contract type for billing using periodic posting.
● Outline agreement for one-time postings
You use this contract type for billing for reservations using one-time postings. The system uses the outline agreement solely for determining the price. The outline agreement for one-time postings is not allowed to be used for allocating costs for continuous occupancy.

The outline agreement is a special form of real estate contract.
1.
In the RE Navigator
(RE80), choose Object Overview. In the dropdown list, choose Real
Estate Contract. Choose
with
the quick info text Create.
2. Enter the contract type.
If you want to create an outline agreement for periodic posting, choose Outline Agreement.
If you want to create an outline agreement for one-time postings, choose Outline Agreement - Price Determination.
3. Make entries in all required entry fields (and any other optional entries) for the outline agreement. Note the following:
○ Objects:
■ You can enter an object – either a reservation object or an architectural object – for which the outline agreement applies. If the outline agreement applies to several objects that are subordinate to an architectural object, then enter that higher-level architectural object.
○ Conditions:
■ Choose Statistical as the condition purpose.
■ For an outline agreement for periodic posting, choose the calculation formula Reservation - Periodic.
For an outline agreement for one-time posting, choose the calculation formula Reservation - Immediate.
■ Enter a unit price for calculating the reservation price.
○ Posting parameters:
■ For calculating the reservation price, choose a frequency in the Amount Referencefield in the frequency term.
The system calculates the price of the reservation or occupancy based on the unit price and the frequency term. To set up the price, in addition, as dependent on the reservation object type, use object groups. You can assign an architectural object to several object groups. The reservation object type on the object group can be used as a differentiating characteristic.
4. Save your settings.
As soon as you have entered and saved the costs of the reservation or occupancy, you can display them in the cash flow on the outline agreement.
