Processing Land 

You can create, change, or display land. Below is a description of how to create master data for land.

Procedure

On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose:

Accounting ® Flexible Real Estate Management ® RE Navigator ® Land ®  with the quick info text Create.

For an accessible version of Create Land, use transaction REBDPR.

Number Assignment

Depending on the settings in Customizing, the number of the land can either be assigned externally or internally. Read the documentation for the Number Range for Land Customizing activity.

Land Related to Architectural View

You can create land with an immediate link to an existing architectural object. To do so, set the Create From Arch. indicator and enter the ID of the architectural object. The new land is then created with the data of this architectural object, such as its address and measurement amounts. You can still change this data.

Enter the company code. When external number assignment is used (see above), enter the number of the land.

Land Not Related to Architectural View

If you do not want to create the land with a link to an architectural object, then do not set the Create From Arch. indicator.

Enter the company code. When external number assignment is used (see above), enter the number of the land.

You can also link all usage objects to architectural objects later on, after the usage object was created. For more information, see Architectural View and Assignments Between Usage and Architectural Views.

 

General Data Tab Page

When you create land and buildings, the address of the business entity is automatically copied. However, you can enter an address for them that differs from that of the business entity.

The more details you enter in the address in the dialog box, the faster the system works. If the system has already stored several addresses for the client, a dialog box displays an overview of the existing addresses that match your selection criteria.

By choosing  with the quick info text Release, you release the land for account assignment.

 

Building Law and Usage Tab Page

Here you enter data on building law, usage and relevant dates.

This data is for information only.

 

Values Tab Page

Here you can define details on the quality of the land and land value.

This data is for information only.

 

Productive Holdings Tab Page

Here you can define data on the municipality and topographical location.

This data is for information only.

 

Infrastructure Tab Page

You can enter infrastructure characteristics on the Infrastructure tab page.

 

Measurements Tab Page

In display mode, you can call up validity periods by choosing  with the quick info text Current Time Slot and   with the quick info text Complete Period.

Option Rate Methods Tab Page

On this tab page you define methods for option rate determination. The method that has been defined in Customizing as being the default method is defaulted by the system here. However you can change this setting in the Option Rate Method Detail area.

 

Posting Parameters Tab Page

Here you can establish a time-dependent link to a profit center and a business area.

 

Partner Tab Page

Here you can assign business partners who have a relationship to the land, and navigate to the business partner master data.

Assignments Tab Page

In Customizing you specify if the system automatically creates and assigns a functional location in the Plant Maintenance (PM) component when you create land. If this setting was not made, you can manually create a functional location and assign it here.

Based on certain notifications (malfunction reports, service notifications, inspection), and depending on the Customizing settings in the Plant Maintenance component, you can create a maintenance order (or service or maintenance plan order) directly from the land master data.

In addition, depending on your settings in Customizing, you can:

●     Create and assign fixed assets of Asset Accounting (FI-AA)

●     Assign WBS elements

●     Assign CO orders

Architecture Tab Page

For more information, see these sections above: Land Related to Architectural View and Land Not Related to Architectural View.

Here you can assign existing usage objects to existing architectural objects or the other way around. This assignment can be either partial or complete. In addition, when you create usage objects, you can specify that they are created from existing architectural objects. The advantage of this assignment is that you can partially or completely adopt the measurements of the assigned object. While doing so, you can automatically or manually update the measurements on the usage object.

Assignment to Contract Tab Page

The system displays a list of the real estate contracts to which the land is assigned. From the list you can go directly to the display of each real estate contract.

Here you can display the measurements of all subordinate objects.
