Time Statement Using the HR Forms
Workplace
You can use the Time Statement in the HR Forms Workplace to provide your employees with information about all current time-management data related to the relevant employment contracts and working time provisions. Employees receive an overview of the following time evaluation data:
...
· Postings at the time recording terminal
· Daily attendance and absence times
· Current time accounts and time credits
· Bonuses granted on the basis of work performed
· Information about cost assignment and different payments
· Additional time and master data that affects the valuation of employees' time data

Time evaluation data comprises time data and time evaluation results that are stored on the database.
You can provide employees with a printout
of their time statements, or make the time statements available in an Employee
Self-Service (ESS) Web application. For more information about the Web
application, see
Time
Statement.
You create the layout for the forms and various data calculations using SAP Smart Forms. SAP Smart Forms enable you to apply a uniform appearance to all your forms in line with your corporate design. You can use the same technology for your HR forms as you use for your other SAP forms.
As an alternative to printing hard copies of the forms, you can also output them on the Internet (for the Time Statement Employee Self-Service application), by fax, or by e-mail using SAP Smart Forms. You can use different formatting (such as styles, fonts, font sizes, paragraph and character formats, lines, borders) or graphic elements (such as various corporate logos) in designing your forms.
You use the HR Forms Workplace to specify the data you want to be output in the time statement. The HR Forms Workplace supports the special HR-related requirements of forms. It is based on SAP Smart Forms. You can use it to create HR forms.

· Due to the complexity of the forms, you are strongly advised to copy the standard SAP forms as a template and adjust the copies to suit your requirements.

This documentation makes reference to the standard SAP forms for the most part when describing the layout and data displayed, for example.
· You should be familiar with using SAP Smart Forms and the HR Forms Workplace to create forms.
· You should have knowledge of ABAP.
· The CHECK NOB1 function must not be activated in your time evaluation schema, because the form requires data from cluster B1.
· The time statement form determines the layout of the time statement. It specifies which master data and time evaluation data is output in the time statement, and the sequence and level of detail in which it is displayed. You can use your own corporate colors and logo, and the same fonts, formats, layout patterns, and styles that you normally use for your other corporate communication.
· You can output time statements in different languages, provided that you translate the texts in the form.

In the Time Statement using the HR Forms Workplace, it is not possible to output the form automatically in the employee's language, as defined in the Personal Data infotype (0002). It is output in the logon language of the person who runs the print report.
In the Employee Self-Service application, the time statement is output in the employee's logon language.
· Fields can be output anywhere on the form. You can combine fields to suit your requirements and in combination with any data, regardless of the origin of the data.
This enables you to arrange data in blocks according to business aspects that reflect your enterprise's working time provisions. For example, you can display all wage types, time balances, and quotas that relate to overtime together in one block.
· You can form totals for any periods, depending on the data displayed. In addition, you can carry out more complex calculations, such as forming mean values over time evaluation results for multiple periods, or relating time accounts to one another by means of percentages.
· You can define the format in which you want the fields to be output. For example, you may want to specify the date format, define how texts are displayed, or format messages or time evaluation results requiring attention in bold type.
· The layout of the form is not changed as a result of employee data that is available only at the runtime of the form. You can, however, lay down conditions for all existing data to specify the situations in which you want which types of data to be output.

You can output a note or additional information for employees if their time accounts exceed or fall short of a particular value.
· You can integrate an appendix. In the appendix, you can include explanatory notes for employees about the layout of the form or changes to working time provisions, or send personalized notifications.
· You can output the time statements for any periods, that is, the output is not restricted to the time evaluation period. However, only data that has been evaluated in time evaluation or has been subject to a preliminary evaluation can be output.
· In the HR Forms Workplace, the SAP_Default MetaNet (SAP Standard MetaNet) contains the data that you need to be displayed in the form. If you want to display data from customer-specific infotypes in the form, you can create your own MetaNet.
For more information, see
HR Metadata Workplace
(PY_XX_FO).
· The following infotype data is not available:
¡ Leave Compensation infotype (0416)
¡ Individual data records that have caused a quota deduction
¡ Leave Entitlement infotype (0005) (not supported for the time statement in the standard system)
· You can output only time evaluation data that is stored on the database; this includes projected time evaluation results. You cannot output the results of time evaluation simulations.
