Specifying Prices and Account Assignment Data 

Prerequisites

You made all the Customizing settings described in Room Reservations and Long-Term Seating Arrangements. You generated reservation objects from objects of the architectural view.

Procedure

You can specify prices for individual rooms as follows:

●      In the RE Navigator (RE80), choose Tools and then Change Data for Account Determination.

                            a.      Enter the reservation object type for determining the reservation object (and other criteria if you wish), and choose  with the quick info text Execute.

The system displays a list of the reservation objects that meet the selection criteria.

                            b.      Specify the price for each object. Instead, you could also enter a price code for a more complex price determination. In that case, the system derives the price for the object using the rules that you defined for the price code in Customizing. For more information, see Derivation of Prices.

                            c.      If you want to specify prices for several reservation objects at the same time, then select the objects in the list and choose  with the quick info text Mass Change. Enter the required data and choose  with the quick info text Continue.

                            d.      Save your settings.

●      In the RE Navigator (RE80) in processing of the reservation object.

                            e.      Enter the external ID of the reservation object.

                              f.      Enter the price of the object in the Basic Rent fields.

                            g.      Save your settings.

You specify the account assignment data for allocating these costs using the Change Data for Account Determination tool. Enter either a standard account assignment or a separate account assignment for each condition type.

You define prices for additional services related to reservations in Customizing by choosing Room Reservations and Long-Term Seating Arrangements ® Room Reservations ® Services for Reservation ® Define Service Types.
