Posting of Internal Reservations and Occupancy by Internal Employees 

Use

You use this function to post the costs related to one or more internal reservations or of occupancy by internal employees to Controlling. You can post reservations with or without services assigned to them.

Prerequisites

You made all the settings described in Room Reservations and Long-Term Seating Arrangements. In the case of services that require a confirmation from the provider or recipient, you confirmed the services in the RE Navigator (RE80) using the Confirm Service - Provider or Confirm Service - Recipient tool.

Activities

To post the costs of internal reservations or of occupancy by internal employees, in the RE Navigator (RE80), choose Tools and then Posting Reservations/Occupancy. Specify the reservations or occupancies you want to post. For reservations, you also specify whether the system should post reservations, services, or both. Run the program in simulation mode first and then as an update run.

You also need to enter an account assignment object when posting service types, for which you specified in Customizing that the origin of the account assignment is Account Assignment Object of Billing.
