Posting for Continuous Occupancy 

Use

To allocate the costs for one or more occupants (continuous occupancy) in Controlling, you have to post these costs.

Activities

Occupancy by Internal Employees:

To post for occupancy by internal employees, you post directly using the Posting of Reservation/Occupancy program.

Occupancy by External Employees:

       1.      To post for occupancy by external employees or contractors, you use an outline agreement. The system uses the outline agreement to determine the price for the occupancy.

       2.      You use the Posting of Reservation/Occupancy program to generate the necessary cash flow records.

       3.      To post the cash flow records, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Accounting ® Flexible Real Estate Management ® Room Reservations and Long-Term Seating Arrangements ® Accounting ® Periodic Postings ® Periodic Posting: Contracts.
